Reymundo L. Rivas, 70, of New Braunfels, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013 in New Braunfels. Born on August 10, 1942 in New Braunfels, he was the son of Consuelo Rodriguez Rivas and the late Reymundo G. Rivas.
In addition to his mother, Reymundo is survived by his siblings, Rosita Cruz, Juan Rivas, Sylvia Moses and Pete Rivas; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel (1254 Business 35 N.) with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Braunfels. Interment will be private. May the good lord bless all his family during this difficult time, Mr. Rivas was the best Health Inspector Val Verde county could have had. I was blessed to have met him, and will be forever grateful to all his kindness towards me. Will Miss him always, but so thankful to god for all the years we worked together.
