Richard Stone Dabbs

Richard Stone Dabbs, a resident of Canyon Lake, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born on September 7, 1941 in Laredo to Raymond Clyde Dabbs and Clemencia Gonzalez Dabbs. Richard was self-employed in the construction industry for most of his professional career. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Chris Dabbs; one brother and one sister. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Donna J. Dabbs; children, Richard Allen Dabbs, Bridget Ann Jacobs, Renee Marie Gonzalez and Lee Stone Dabbs; brother, James Dabbs; sisters, Hazel Baldrige, Christine Belanger and Teresa Greene; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the Lux Funeral Home.
