Robert C. Hanz was born to Paul and Myrtle Hanz on October 14, 1949. He grew up in New Braunfels, TX. While he was traveling he met the love of his life Joann Clear and they married on August 19, 1972 and remained married for 31 years until Joann’s death in March of 2003.
Robert passed away on December 25, 2023 in New Braunfels, TX at the age of 74. He will be missed dearly.
Robert is survived by his 3 siblings, Paul Hanz and wife Margie, Marie John and husband Anthony and Coni Brennan and husband Michael. His 3 children, Richard A.Hanz, Rodney Hanz and wife Sandra and Craig Hanz and wife Nita. His 6 Grandchildren Heather Salinas, Meagan Ross, Tyler Wagner, Steven Hanz, Robby Hanz and Gavin Hanz, and 3 Great-grandchildren Michael Gomez, Ayden Aguilar and McKinley Wagner.
Robert loved to ride motorcycles and just travel in general. He loved working with his hands as well.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
