Robert Charles "R.C." Pownall, age 60, and a resident of Seguin, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at this home surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born on December 16, 1953 in Cincinnati, OH to Herman A. Pownall and Ruth Austin Pownall. Robert served his country proudly in the United States Army from 1975 to 1985. He was a truck driver for many years, having worked for Tex Mix for the last nine years. Robert enjoyed barbequing and entered many cook-offs. He had many friends and family members who will miss him dearly. He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene (Stair) Pownall; daughters, Sheleen Williamson and Valerie Krueger and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Presley, Patrick and Kyndra Krueger; great-grandbaby, Kylie Lloyd; and sister, Margret Pownall. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00pm on Saturday December 6, 2014 at the VFW Post 8456, 6808 Texas HWY 123, Geronimo, TX 78155.
