December 19, 1957 ~ April 25, 2024
Russell K Scholl passed away at home on April 25, 2024 .
Russell was born December 19, 1957 in New Braunfels, to Atwell and Hilda (Nowotny) Scholl he was the third of seven children.
He met his wife 49 years ago while dancing at the Crystal Chandelier dance hall. Russell drove the roads and the highways from coast to coast and north to south as a trucker for over 45 years. He loved his exceptionally maintained Peterbilts over the years and I’m sure he is cruising the highways of heaven in a black flattop long nose 389X Peterbilt with a matching custom trailer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his in laws, Elgin and Priscilla Schaefer and brother-in-law David Schaefer.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Loren (Schaefer) Scholl, his son Colt (Jude), siblings Joseph, Karlin (Bud), Lynette, Frederick, Kim (Mark) and his twin brother Randall (Betty) who he never let forget that Russell was the big brother because he was a few minutes older, his brother-in-law Michael Schaefer (Jes) along with a wonderful group of cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to your local Humane Society since Russell loved any type of animal.
A celebration of Rusty‘s life will be held June 15, 2024 at 1 PM pavilion # 6 in Landa Park, New Braunfels. In honor of Rusty shorts will be considered proper attire.

Love your favorite sis! Lollie
You were a large part of my life. It’s because of you that I have my love for lifted trucks— from when I was a little kid riding around in your maroon Chevy.
Thank you for being a great friend to my dad & thank you for all of our combative “spats” we had.
This news completely saddens me to my core.
I know you are in a better place and looking down on us with that one of a kind smirky smile of yours.
Peace be with you Monkey✝️🙏✝️❤️❤️
Little Green Monkey we will meet again, But until then !!! Truckum easy Truckum safe,Don”t Put your finger where you would’nt put your Face!!!! God Bless.
Randall and Betty Scholl
I will miss our times sitting on the front porch, talking about everything. I will miss checking the air in my tires, when we went to visit Fritz. We had our ups and downs, but always had each other’s back. We shared that special twin bond. I’ll always have my memories of the last time we sat under the oak tree, just hanging out.
Rest in God’s care. Randy
