Sebastiana S. Gallegos, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the age of 84. Sebastiana was born on January 20, 1930 in Marion, TX to Antonio and Francisca Sosa. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Jose Gallegos, Sr.; grandson, Francisco Gallegos, Jr., granddaughter, Cindy Jo Ramirez; and great granddaughter, Destiny Ramirez. Survivors include her sons, Jesse Perez and wife, Delfina, Joe Gallegos and wife, Dolores, Francisco Gallegos and wife, Gloria, Antonio Gallegos and wife, Rosie, Michael Gallegos and Marcos Gallegos; daughters, Josefa Ramirez and husband, Roger, Keta Martinez and husband, Herbie, Natalia Dailey and husband, Charles, Beatrice Penn and husband, Steven, Dalia Llanas and husband, Max and Cristina Medrano and husband, David. In addition, Sebastiana is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, 1-great-great-grandchild, 1 brother and 2 sisters. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm on Monday, May 12, 2014 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church, with the Funeral Mass beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Santo Tomas Cemetery in Seguin. Please note: there will not be a procession from the funeral home to the church on Tuesday morning. Those wishing to attend both the visitation and Funeral Mass are asked to meet at the church on Tuesday morning at 9:00 am.

To all my cousins and family of my Tia Chana, my deepest condolences. May God give you all the strength and be with each one of you during this time. I know it is hard but she is in a better place and happy to be with her beloved husband! My tio micho! I love you all very much! My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
