Shirley Mae Heiligmann

Shirley M. Heiligmann, a life-long resident of New Braunfels, passed away Tuesday evening, August 27, 2024 at the age of 88. Shirley was born on February 12, 1936 in New Braunfels to the late Herbert Bulgerin and Norma Kohlenberg Bulgerin. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Norma Bulgerin and by her loving husband, Alfred Heiligmann, Jr. Survivors include her two daughters, Cynthia Lynn Hoegenauer (Dwight) and Denise Mays (Kevin); grandchildren, Emily Anne Hoegenauer, Ashley Hallmark (Cody), Trevor Mays (Lindsey) and Mikayla Mays and Fiancé, Reno; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Hallmark, Laramie Hallmark and Bennett Mays. In addition, Shirley is survived by her beloved cousin, Dorothy Junker. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, September 2, 2024 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Hill Country Memorial Gardens.
