Shirley Ruth Hill

Shirley Ruth Hill, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Eden Hill Nursing Home in New Braunfels at the age of 80. Shirley was born on November 9, 1931 in Gonzales County, TX to Clifford Raiford and Margaret Chase Raiford. She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her brother, Larry Raiford. Survivors include her loving husband, Autumn A. Hill, Jr. "Speedy"; daughters, Joyce Hutzler and husband, Harley and Kathy Cowey and husband, Ted; sons, Lonnie Hill and wife, Bobbie and Leslie "Bill" Hill and wife, Pam; grandchildren, Kim, Beverly, Natalie, Hank, Robert, Sharon, Scott, Christina, Cody, Kyle and Dallas and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition, Shirley is also survived by her sister, Barbara Waxler. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Floyd's Chapel Cemetery in Gonzales County, TX.
