Therese “Terry” McNulty Freyer, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024 in New Braunfels, Texas. Born on May 6, 1954 in Jersey City, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Thomas McNulty and Tekla Lysiak McNulty.
Terry is survived by her husband and best friend of over 50 years, Reynold Arthur Freyer; daughter, Victoria Lafferty and husband Andrew; son, Sean Freyer and wife Ashley; her grandchildren, Chloe, Amberlynn, James, and Christopher; her sister Patricia Reszkowski and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents, Terry was preceded in death by her daughter Jessica; her brother-in-law Raymond “Whitey” Reszkowski; her siblings, Dennis McNulty and wife Sally, Kathy Guiamano, Eileen Soltys and husband Bo.
Terry was a homemaker and also had a handful of other jobs, including being employed by The Y. She enjoyed being a mother and a wife over any other job she had held. Terry loved her family more than anything else in the world. She was proud of the children she raised and was absolutely crazy about her husband. She was passionate about animals, gardening, crystals and selflessly putting everyone before herself. She will be fondly remembered by all.
A Celebration of Terry’s Life will be held on September 7 from 12pm – 4pm at the Surrey Downs Clubhouse located at 1 Queen Anne Blvd. Freehold, New Jersey 07728. Anyone whose life she has touched is encouraged to join us and stop in to take part in remembering such a special soul.
