Tomas Landin

Tomas Landin, 78, of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully on Friday July 14, 2023 at his
home surrounded by his loving family.

Tomas was born October 18 th , 1944 in New Braunfels, Texas to Mauro and Carmen (Morales).
He moved to Houston, Texas in 1968. He later brought the love of his life Diana (Arevalo) to
Houston and they married on June 9 th , 1972. He loved dancing, watching movies, and dressing
to the nines. He never met a stranger and had lifelong friends from all walks of life. He was a
proud grandpa and loved spending quality time with his beloved grandchildren. He was a one-
of-a-kind husband, father, brother-in-law, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He spent his lifetime
celebrating family, friends and enjoying life to the fullest.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sister Anita, Brother Louis, and loving wife Diana.
Tomas is survived by his daughter Leanna Landin-Requena (Miguel); three grandchildren Miguel
Tomas Requena, Annalisa Isabel Requena, and Diana Marie Requena; Sister Delia Landin,
Brother Davis Landin (Aracelli); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 21, 2023 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Comal Cemetery.
