William Mack Allmand

William Mack Allmand, a resident of McQueeney, TX, passed away Tuesday morning August 30th at 8:50am at his home. Mack was born in Monterrey, Mexico to James Rupert Allmand and Margie Freeman. Mack lived in Mexico for a short time and moved to the states where he graduated high school at Decatur High School in Decatur, Mississippi. He had a strong passion to learn something new every day no matter what it was. Mack would always say “Knowledge is power, and with knowledge you can achieve anything.” Mack continued his education at East Central Community College and graduated from Mississippi State University in 1975 with a Bachelors degree of Arts and Science. He also went on to complete The Mississippi School of Banking to be certified by Mississippi Bankers Association in 1981 and was a proud member of Decatur United Methodist Church. He resided in Mississippi and worked as a timber logger raising two daughters, Madison and Macy Allmand, that survive him and continue to reside in Mississippi to this day. In 2003 Mack moved to Texas where he met the love of his life, Louisa, and married her on May 13, 2007 and they raised three kids Ayden, Jaylynn, and Mathiew. Mack is preceded by his father James and mother Margie. He is survived by his brother Jimmy; two sisters, Melody and Joy; his spouse Louisa Allmand; and their 3 kids, Ayden, Jaylynn, and Mathiew; Michael Anthony Flores, Christina and Jacob Flores, Vanessa and George Fromme, Billy and Christy Reyes; 10 grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
