Annie Schneider Real, 84 years of age, passed on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Kirkwood Manor in New Braunfels, Texas.
Annie was born on March 23, 1938, in New Braunfels, Texas, to the late Oscar B. Schneider Sr. and Norma Koepp Schneider. She was the youngest of two children, preceded in death by her brother, Oscar Schneider, Jr.
Annie married the late Franklin Real on November 9, 1954, in Comal County. Annie worked at the New Braunfels Hosiery Mill for several years; later in life, she and Frank owned and operated Real’s Service Station on Union Street for many years.
Annie is survived by her five children: Connie Real and spouse, Paul McGinley; Vicki Mote and spouse, Jim; Doug Real and spouse, Maxine; Cindy Boettner and spouse, Eddie; and Brian Real and spouse, Tina.
She was also blessed with and leaves lovingly behind her 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

We are so sorry for your loss. Annie was such a wonderful lady. We remember her well from all of the years your parents owned the gas station and then later in life too. She is surly happy reunited with her love. We will pray that you all find peace and comfort at this difficult time.
My deepest condolences on your family’s loss. Omie had a contagious energy and was a sweet but strong woman. I will forever cherish all the great memories of swimming in her lake on hot summer days, surrounded by friends and your family. She welcomed all of us crazy kids each and every time. My heart goes out to all of you at this difficult time.
The Real and Bees family were very close in my childhood growing up. Both Frank and Annie were to me my Aunt and Uncle. We shared many BBQ together and ran plum crazy all over the many acres they owed. To me it was heaven at their house! Could hardly wait and looked forward with joy to get over there abd RUN!!! I love Aunt Annie and you were 1 of my moms best friends. I hope you get to see each other again up in heaven. God bless the family abd ease the pain of their loss.
