Aurora F. Aleman, 82, of New Braunfels, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at her home. Born on November 10, 1932 in Hunter, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Amado and Antonia Flores. Aurora is survived by her daughter, Leticia Flores; granddaughters, Jean Rivera and Cindy Scott; great-grandchildren, Kayla and Leticia Scott, Taylor and Adrianna Montoya, and Emma Riojas; great-great-grandchild; Sterling Carpenter. Also surviving are her brothers and sisters as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Aurora was preceded in death by her baby daughter, Adelita Flores. A visitation will be held tonight at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 5:00-9:00pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.

  1. To the Aleman Family, We are so sorry for your loss. Even with a firm hope for the future, death is still accurately described as an enemy in the Bible at 1 Corinthians 15:26. We can’t help but feel the void when someonoe we love dies. The Bible holds out a hope for us that I personally have found to be a comfort. Jesus promises that millions now dead will live again on this earth, and have the prospect of remaining on it forever under peaceful conditions.
