Emilio Arzabala

Emilio Arzabala, a resident of New Braunfels, passed on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Colonial Manor Care Center in New Braunfels at the age of 88. Emilio was born on April 5, 1924 in Chichihua, Parral, Mexico to Juan Arzabala and Sofia Medrano Arzabala. During his professional career, Mr. Arzabala worked as a self-employed baker. Survivors include his children, Emilio Arzabala, Manuel Arzabala, Juan Arzabala, Alicia Arzabala, Marisa Armendariz, Jose Arzabala and Raul Arzabala; brothers, Antonio and Miguel Angel Arzabala; 28 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Friday, April 13, 2012 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel, followed by the funeral, which starts at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Joe Tostado. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
