Jacob Alvin Brown, 80, a veteran of the Vietnam War and longtime resident of Spring Branch, Texas, passed away on March 30, 2023. Jacob was born March 7th, 1943 to Wade H. Brown and Edna J. McDaniel and attended South San Antonio High School before enlisting in the U.S. Navy. Jacob was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane (Strube) Brown, his parents, his grandfather Virgil McDaniel, and other various family members. He is survived by his daughters Adrianne Brown Schmitz and Kimberly LeLeux, and his grandson Mason LeLeux. His family has organized a memorial service to honor Jacob's life and military service, which will be held at Ft. Sam Houston cemetery at a later date.

    A: Staying the night with his daughters was always so much fun, he always had jokes and the cheesier the joke the harder we laughed, but also shared little life lessons or tips I will never forget. I was very blessed to get to know him may he rest now and bless his family
