My heart is broken today finding out that Nita is no longer with us.
I was 20 years old when Nita an I met hanging out at the club at Lackland. Back then she was my ride or die. We took a road trip to California on a whim. We had so much fun. Unfortunately it ended in me wrecking my car on the way home. I also lied with her for awhile in NC. We lost touch for many years, but she was never far from my heart. I was lucky enough to reconnect with her online a couple of years ago. Today I discovered this past August, my old friend passed away. I am not sure how to process this. My deepest condolences to her family. I am so sorry for your loss.
