Ricardo "Rick" Marques Jr., age 53, of New Braunfels, Texas, met Our Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, July 21, 2022 after a brief battle with cancer. For the next 30 years Rick worked in different roles with increasing responsibility across the country within the United States Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Prisons. Most recently he served as the Warden of the Big Spring federal prison retiring in June 2021. He enjoyed a round of golf, riding his Harley, enjoying his right to bear arms, cheering on his New York Yankees and Giants and antagonizing Cowboys fans.
