Obituary for Francisco Solis

Francisco Solis, 91, of Canyon Lake, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 in New Braunfels. Born on April 1, 1926 in Rio Grande City, Texas, he was the son of the late Agatito and Hermenia Solis.
Francisco is survived by his children, Susana Santibanez and her husband, Raymond, Frank Solis, Jr., and his wife Lupe, Fred Solis, Sandy Best and her husband Kelly, and Sylvia Molina and her husband, Johnny. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ninfa Solis; grandson, David Del Hierro, Jr. and granddaughter, Evette King.
Francisco was a contractor for many years in Abilene, where he lived with his wife and family for over 45 years. They then moved to Canyon Lake in 1993 after his retirement and opened a Ninfa's Tacos in Canyon Lake which everyone loved and it proved to be very popular.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
