Obituary for Earle Evatt Leonard, Jr.

Earle Evatt Leonard, Jr., age 92 passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 18, 2019.
He was the beloved husband of Jeanie Schow Leonard for 70 years. Remarkable! He is survived by his son,
Sandy Leonard, and granddaughter Lauren; daughter Laura Livaudais, son-in-law Ken, grandson Brett and wife
Brittney and two great grandchildren Luke and Madeline; and grandson Christian; and his son Byron Leonard.
Earle served in the United States Navy in World War II. He was a graduate of Rice University with a degree in
Electrical Engineering. Earle began his career working for various power companies, then Rowan Drilling
Company and finally Avondale Shipyard. In addition to a successful career, his many accomplishments were
attending Law School at Loyola University, renovating buildings, owning gift shops and investing in real estate.
He bought and sold over 100 properties in his lifetime. Earle semi-retired to the Hill Country in 1995.
Earle and Jeanie attended Cornerstone Church in San Antonio.
He is loved by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Service will be Wednesday January 23, 2019 at 1:00 PM in The Chapel of Cornerstone Church, 18755 Stone Oak
