Antonio Espinoza, Sr., a life-long resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Christus Santa Rosa in New Braunfels at the age of 67. Mr. Espinoza was born on December 2, 1945 in New Braunfels to Albino Espinoza and Refujia Silvas Espinoza. Antonio served our country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In addition, he was both a long-time employee and retiree of the United States Postal Service. He is survived by his loving wife, Victoria Ortiz Espinoza; children, Rose and Brian Weiss, Antonio Jr. and Lolanda Espinoza, Jennifer Espinoza and Albert Villearreal, Julie and Ty Smith; grandchildren, Lyndsay and Hilary Weiss, Brittany Espinoza, AJ Espinoza, Karrina Smith, Nick Villearreal, Xavier Espinoza, Olivia Smith, Gracie Smith; sister, Margret Gonzales; brother, Joe and Gloria Espinoza and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM with a Rosary at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. A procession will depart at 10:00 AM on Wednesday from the funeral home to Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery for an 11:00 AM graveside service with military honors.
