Lorenza "Florencia" Saenz, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at her daughter's residence at the age of 89. Florencia was born on August 10, 1924 in Barbarosa to Augustine Torres and Mercedes Medina Torres. Florencia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Enrique Saenz, Sr.; sons, Enrique Saenz, Jr. and Fernando "Freddy" Saenz. Survivors include her children, Robert Saenz, David Saenz, Lucinda Zavala and Diana Saenz; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. In addition, Florencia is also survived by a brother, Seferino Torres and by a sister, Virginia Suarez. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30am on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, followed by the Funeral Mass, which begins at 10:00am with the Rev.
