Ofilia C. Reimer, 71, a life-long resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels. Born on February 28, 1943 in New Braunfels, she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Virginia Castillo. Ofilia is survived by her children, Martin Hernandez, Mary Clack and Janie Hernandez; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Olga Silva, Oralia Valadez and Hortencia Valdez. A Visitation will take place from 5:00pm-9:00pm on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with the Rev. Camillo Botello, Jr., MSF VF-Celebrant. Please note: there will not be a procession from the funeral home to the church on Thursday morning. All wishing to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday are asked to meet at the church at 9:30am. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
