~In Loving Memory of a Beautiful Soul~

Opeladine “Opal” Laney Dumville, 76, passed on into the hands of God on the evening of March 27, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Opal was born in Houston, TX to Jerry Paul and Helen Laney on July 5, 1947.

Opal reunited with her mother and father, one sister, and two brothers in heaven. Opal leaves behind her two loving, dedicated daughters Phyllis Lopez and husband Jim, Julie Brisson and husband Doug, one son, her precious grandchildren Amanda, Maranda, Jason, Holly, Jessica, and Madeline, several great-grandchildren, along with numerous extended family and friends.

Even though Opal’s spirit has left this earth, her smile, humor, and caring heart will never be forgotten by the lives she touched.

Arrangements are pending for a celebration of Opal’s life and will be announced in the near future.
