Raul Elizondo

Raul Mata Elizondo, a resident of Seguin, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the age of 56. Raul was born on November 10, 1955 in Ralls, TX to Cleto Elizondo and Fidela Mata Elizondo. He was a heavy equipment operator for some 23-years. Raul was preceded in death by his two brothers, Eliazar and Fermin Elizondo. Survivors include his children, Estevan V. Elizondo and wife, Bernice, LeeRoy V. Elizondo, Monica E. Sauceda and husband, Andrew, Raphael V. Elizondo and Teresa Nicole Elizondo; parents, Cleto and Fidela Elizondo; grandchildren, Dylan, Nathaniel, Marcel and Evangelina Elizondo andDraven Sauceda; siblings, Noberto and wife, Annette, Noe and wife, Shiril and Abel Elizondo and wife, Amanda, Ninfa Villarreal and husband, Luis, Irene Medina, Leticia Martinez and husband, Armando, Velma Vega and husband, David and Veronica Delgado and husband, Bruce; nieces and nephews, Jeremiah, Pearl, BJ, Robert Jr., Memory, Eliazar, Abraham and Marty Elizondo, April, Joe, Albert, Jennifer and Priscilla Villarreal, Gabriel, Margarita and JJ Medina, Andrew and Kathryn Martinez, Mariah, Ashley and Jacob Vega, Krystal and Jesse Delgado. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM, all of which will take place at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM at the funeral home and 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, followed by the Funeral Mass, which starts at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Ignatius F. Himawan, M.S.F.-Celebrant. Interment will follow at Santo Tomas Cemetery in Guadalupe County.
