Ronald J. Kay

Ronald "Red or Ronnie" James Kay, age 66, of New Braunfels, passed away on Saturday May 26, 2012 in Seguin. He was born April 5, 1946 in Pleasanton. He was preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Betty Kay; brothers Justin Kay and Johnny Kay and sister Diana Carenen.
He is survived by his brother Dickie Hart; sisters Donna Coleman and Tammy Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his adopted daughters Shawna Webb and husband Jay and Suzanne Estill and grandchildren Alexis Estill Blackmon and Desiree, Darren, Danielle and David Webb.
He attended Pleasanton High until the 10th grade and later joined the army. He owned his own trucking company for a while working for the oil fields. He drove trucks most of his life hauling many different types of cargo all across the U.S. allowing him to see much of our great nation.
A memorial service is being planned to be held in Comfort on the river and to be announced at a later date.

With our family and friends on Comfort campouts and Canyon Lake gatherings, Ronnie helped us ALL relax and have fun. He had that way about him.
